2. Marking, Saving, Sharing & Citing the
citations you find in MLA IB
• My Research: Creating a free My Research account allows you to
save searches and save items to a folder, and return to them later.
If you save items to a folder without signing in to your account, the
items will be lost when you close out of the database.
• E-Mail & Social Bookmarking: Send citations and links to full-
text (if available) to yourself or others
• Save a list of results to a flash drive
• Cite: Mark item(s) and click the “cite” icon. Choose what style you
want, such as MLA 7th Edition, and then copy/paste, print or save
the list. Be sure to double check the format against your manual
for accuracy.
3. Click “My Research” to create an account, then sign in.
Search, then mark the results you want to keep, and click
“Save to My Research”.
4. E-Mail, Print, Cite & Save options are
located at the top of the list of results
5. Click the article title to see the Social Bookmarking and
personalized Tagging options
