Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the UX Designer is to lead the design of digital products for the client and its
customers. You will lead and coordinate effort to shape business ideas into valuable, usable, viable products.
They will have experience in designing end-to-end web based products and platforms and worked within an
agile team. Ideally, he or she will have a strong formal design qualification, and while focusing on UX and
interaction design, will be able to cover visual design as well.
Responsibilities
UX/Interaction Design
Take the lead on all design activities for key products/applications.
Work with the product management team to initiate projects by holding workshops or interviewing
users. Produce lightweight prototypes that can help inform the product development process and drive
user engagement.
Drive any user research and user testing required for each product
Work with the product management and technical teams to make design decisions and help construct
user stories.
Work within one or more scrum teams to deliver all design assets required for development.
Work with the product management team to proactively identify original solutions to design problems
and help drive innovation across the product set.
Drive standardisation of all design principles and approaches.
Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of the advertising industry.
Visual Design
Own all aspects of visual design across all products
Be comfortable producing branding ideas for products
Experience
Significant experience of agile UX design, ideally for complex web based applications or data platforms
Experience in visual design
Deep understanding of digital media technologies, how they can drive business improvement, and how
people interact with and use those products to become more effective in their roles
Skills
Able to demonstrate an inquisitive mind and come up with different solutions to the same problem
Analytical and resourceful
Excellent negotiations skills and ability to manage relationships and adopt an assertive approach where
appropriate
Comfortable working in unstructured and fragmented organisations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build both internal and external relationships
The flexibility to work with a varied workload, often under pressure
The ability to travel internationally and hold a valid passport
