Use your photos to create an inspirational message with the Photo Alphabet
After Effects template. 50 photos create the letters of the alphabet and are featured individually in the video slide show scenes.
Simply drag and drop each letter into the placeholder composition, change
size, spacing then you’re done!
Easy to customize and update if you need to swap out a photo- simply check a
box to display the numbered labels for all photos so you can easily find and replace images.

TO SHOW OR HIDE PHOTO NUMBERS:
Folders for:
Selec the “Turn on Photo Numbers here” layer in the Photo Alphabet Render Comp.
‘Alphabet’ folder:
In the Effects Controls panel check the box for “Turn on Photo Numbers” to see numbers for all of the photos
or uncheck the box to hide the numbers.
contains all of the Alphabet Letter comps A-Z
'elements' folder:
contains the source files used to make the
animation including pre-comps, solids, and
all source files
Render Comp folder:
Contains Final composition to be rendered.
Replace Photos Here folder:
Contains placeholder compositions for your
photos
Replace Text Here folder:
Contains text placeholder composition for
the Closing Scene
Scenes folder:
Contains the Closing Scene, Opening Scene,
Photo Montage Scenes, Project Spec scene,
Single Letter Scenes, Video Scenes, and Word
Scenes.

How to Replace Photos:

In the Project Panel go to the
“Replace Photos Here” folder,
then open the “Replace Photos
Here” folder. Double-click to
open the “Replace Photo 01”
composition.

Turn off or delete the placeholder layer by clicking the
eyeball icon or simply hit
‘delete’.

How to Replace Photos:

Next, go to File/Import/File...

Navigate to the folder with the
photo you want to import.

Hit “Open” to import your photo
to the Project Panel.

How to Replace Photos:

Drag & Drop the imported photo into the
Photo 01 composition timeline. ***PLACE
YOUR PHOTO IN THE BOTTOM OF THE
LAYER STACK

With the photo layer selected, Hit S on your
keyboard to bring up the layer’s Scale property, scrub left on the numbers to scale the
layer down if needed.

Repeat for all Photo Comps
in the “Replace Photos Here”
folder. Follow the same
directions to replace video
in the video comps.

How to Change Letters in Word Scenes:
In the ‘Replace Text Here’ folder, open the “Word 01”
composition

In the “Alphabet” folder, drag a letter comp into the Word timeline.
Use the Scale parameter to scale the letter down if needed.
Use the Selection Tool to move the layer in the composition viewer

Replace Text in Closing Scene:
1 In the ‘Replace Text Here’ folder, open the “Replace Closing Text here” composition
2 Double-click the Text layer in the timeline. In the Composition Viewer, the text will be highlighed, indicating it is editable.
Type your text.

Change the Font, Size and
Color of the Text in the
Character Panel.
Go to the Window Menu
then select Character to
open the panel, if you don’t
already have it open.

How to Replace the Logo:
1 Open the "Replace Photos Here" folder,
then in the “Replace Logo Here” folder open
the Replace Logo Here composition.

Drag your imported logo in to the timeline,
use the Scale parameter (keyboard shortcut

S) on the logo layer to scale the logo up or
down.
