the

meets
“Stella
Adler
Academy”
Synopsis
A
panel
of
3
celebrity
Actors
will
mentor,
critique
and
ultimately
judge
the
contestants
who
are
made
up
of
11
male
and
11
female
aspiring
Actors.
The
concept
of
the
series
is
to
find
a
male
and
female
lead
to
star
in
a
fully
produced
feature
film.
Each
episode
will
have
the
actors
grouped
in
twos
or
threes
and
tasked
to
prepare
for
and
act
out
a
scene
together
which
will
be
shot,
produced
and
played
for
the
audience
and
judges,
whilst
some
tasks
will
require
a
Live
stage
performance
to
be
acted
out
in
front
of
the
audience
and
judges.
Different
genres
will
be
given
to
the
groups
for
each
shoot,
where
every
2
groups
to
perform
the
same
scene
and
be
judged
head
to
head.
The
winning
group
is
rewarded
with
the
‘safety’
of
guaranteed
survival
to
the
next
stage,
while
the
losing
team,
along
with
the
other
losing
groups,
will
be
in
a
position
where
1
male
and
1
female
will
be
eliminated
by
the
judges.
Episode
1
We
meet
all
the
contestants
as
they
shoot
their
headshots
and
prepare
for
a
60
second
monologue
to
be
performed
in
front
of
a
camera.
In
doco-‐style,
they
fill
us
in
on
their
strengths,
weaknesses,
inspirations,
ambitions
and
dreams.
The
monologues
are
performed,
shot
and
played
for
the
audience
and
the
judges.
The
judges
deciding
the
results
with
a
combination
for
marketability
from
their
headshots
and
their
performance.
The
lowest
scoring
male
and
female
are
sent
home
early
as
the
drama
begins.
Episode
2
The
20
remaining
contestants
are
coupled
in
10
groups
of
2,
a
male
and
female
in
each
group.
Each
2
groups
are
given
the
exact
same
scene
to
be
performed
on
the
same
set
so
they
will
be
judged
directly
against
each
other
with
a
winning
and
losing
group
determined.
2. The
celebrity
judges,
as
in
every
episode,
spend
time
with
each
group
to
mentor
and
help
them
with
rehearsal.
We
go
behind
the
scenes
of
the
shoots
for
the
first
time
as
we
get
a
taste
of
a
professional
film
set
with
working
Actors,
Cameramen,
Directors
etc..
Each
scene
is
edited
and
played
to
the
live
audience
and
judges,
who
first
critique
and
then
announce
the
winner
of
each
shoot.
The
winners
celebrate
their
progression
to
the
next
stage
whilst
the
losing
team
await
their
fate.
After
all
5
losing
groups
are
identified,
the
judges
announce
the
worst
performing
male
and
female
from
these
groups
who
are
subsequently
eliminated.
Episode
3
We
now
have
18
remaining
contestants
who
are
split
into
6
groups
of
3.
Every
2
groups
do
the
same
scene
and
are
judged
accordingly
as
‘Episode
2’.
After
another
behind
the
scenes
look
at
the
rehearsal
and
shoot,
we
see
the
finished
scenes
and
the
judges
decide
the
winning
and
losing
groups
before
eliminating
2
more
contestants.
Episode
4
16

remain.
We
are
back
to
2
people
in
each
of
the
8
groups.
The
structure
stays
consistent
with
previous
episodes.

scene

they
are

over

do
a
scene
with
a
different
person.

this
round
the
scenes
are
judged
as
a
whole
instead
of
individual
performances.
The
group
with
the
poorest
score
will
be
eliminated
together
(1
male
and
1
female).
Episode
9
6
contestants
remain,
split
into
3
groups
of
2
people.
They
do
3
scenes
each.
Before
being
judged,
each
person
is
asked
if
they’d
prefer
to
be
judged
together
with
their
partner
(as
a
scene)
or
individually,
with
the
decision
going
to
majority
vote.
If
tied
at
3-‐3,
decision
falls
to
judges.
2
contestants
are
eliminated,
either
by
scene
or
as
individuals.
Episode
10
–
SEASON
FINALE
4
contestants
remain,
split
into
2
groups
of
2
people.
They
shoot
a
complete
short
film
(15-‐20
minutes)
as
the
male
and
female
leads.
They
select
their
own
script
from
a
choice
of
8
films.
Must
be
different
film
for
each
team.
They
also
choose
a
cast
from
the
already
eliminated
contestants
to
play
lesser
parts
in
their
film.
Behind
the
scenes
at
filming
and
mentoring
from
judges
and
special
guests.
The
films
are
played
to
the
live
audience
and
judges.
The
decision
is
made
in
an
‘Oscar
style
ceremony’,
where
the
host
announces
candidates
from
each
respective
film,
for
best
female
actress
and
best
male
actor
respectively
read
from
an
envelope,
but
before
that,
also
best
supporting
male
and
female,
who
will
also
get
a
part
in
the
film
as
their
prize.
The
candidates
sit
in
the
audience
as
they
eagerly
await
the
decision.
The
host
finally
says:
“And
the
best
female
actress
is”…….
She
walks
on
stage
in
her
elegant
dress
to
accept
the
award,
sheds
a
tear
whilst
giving
her
acceptance
speech.
The
Best
Male
Actor
is
then
announced,
so
we
now
have
the
next
male
and
female
Hollywood
Stars.
Target
Audience.
The
show
will
have
an
extremely
wide
variety
of
viewers
in
all
ages
and
demographics.
Financial
Incentives
Obvious
opportunities
for
product
placement
in
every
scene
shot
during
the
show.
The
season
finale
will
be
comprised
of
2
short
films
(approx.
15
minutes
each),
which
will
boast
an
abundance
of
product
placement
opportunities.
4. The
winning
prize
is
the
lead
role
in
the
film
to
be
produced
by
the
show’s
producers,
the
show
snowballs
into
a
bigger
opportunity
with
a
film
that
could
be
distributed
to
cinema,
the
supporting
TV
network,
Netflix
etc.
Audience
will
be
eagerly
awaiting
their
favorite
contestants’
debut
performance
in
a
full
feature
Hollywood
film,
so
a
strong
base
will
already
have
been
established
for
the
Film.
