4. New development
George Wrobleski who runs Smithfield Wine looked
at the enterprise cultural heritage (ECH) learning
material to evaluate how it might help him in the
exploitation of the culture and heritage of the
products he sells.
He found that the change management module
was the most relevant of the four ECH training
modules as the company is about to embark on a
major new development.

5. Expanding the company
As an on-line wine merchant who ships
bottles to their customers one of the
biggest problems that the company faces is
breakage.
In keeping with his modern take on selling
traditional products George has developed
a new packaging to solve the breakage
problem. He is now expanding the
company to include a new arm selling this
technical packaging.

6. Using the change management material
George looked at the change
management material to see how it
might help him in the new
developments.
After studying the module, which
emphasises the importance of
involving staff in change, he is now
working closely with the staff who are
introducing the new systems required
making sure that they are fully
engaged with the changes.
