Project Goals
Identify opportunities for increasing housing and jobs
around transit stations.
Understand and address impediments to development
in Wollaston Center.
Improve access from surrounding neighborhoods to
Wollaston Center and the Red Line station for
pedestrians, cyclists and transit users.
Project Tasks
Work with residents, business owners, property
owners, and the City to create a vision for Wollaston
Center.
Recommend changes to land use and zoning within
the Wollaston Center study area.
Understand the market potential for housing, retail
and office development in Wollaston Center.
Suggest improvements to make walking, biking and
transit use easier and safer.
