Subject: Letter of recommendation for Lynn Holloran
To whom it may concern,
During my role as Managing Director of TELUS’ Public Sector business (1999 – 2010), I had the pleasure
of having Lynn Holloran on my healthcare business development team. I worked closely with Lynn over a
seven year period and during that time she was an annual top performer and regularly achieved elite
President’s Club status recognizing her as the best amongst her peers.
What set Lynn apart and significantly contributed to her success was a relentless focused approach on
achieving her goals unlike I witnessed from any other team member.
First and foremost, Lynn understands all aspects of the healthcare continuum and is recognized by her
clients for her expertise and deep knowledge of their business. This includes supporting all levels of
healthcare systems at the Ministerial level, complex solutions deployed for hospitals or unique
requirements of the homecare market.
On many occasions I had the opportunity to attend client meetings with Lynn. Prior to any client call,
Lynn gathered her extend support team to strategically prepare attendees for the event. No detail was
left unattended and her leadership skills would shine through as team members were leveraged for
their input and ideas. During the client calls, she would command the meetings ensuring the customers
provided their feedback and fully understood how TELUS could assist them with their requirements.
Lynn has a unique ability to connect and develop positive relationships with C-Level clients or their
support staff. Regardless of their role, Lynn would recognize their position, make them feel comfortable
and treated everyone in a highly professional manner. As such on many occasions I personally received
accolades about Lynn’s significant contribution to their businesses and glowing comments about what a
pleasure she was to work with.
Lynn has all the attributes of a team leader and a top sales performer specifically pertinent for the
Canadian healthcare market. TELUS team members or external partners were always excited about
supporting Lynn because she treated everyone with respect and is a proven winner. This is simply
because for Lynn, assisting organizations provide Canadian’s better healthcare is not a job, it’s a passion.
Lynn has a wonderful personality that brings positive energy to any team, combined with relentless
pursuit of her goals and seasoned leadership skills, makes her a perfect candidate for any healthcare
