2. Opening Title (S.1)
The clouds at the beginning are
the first thing you see. These
will include sound effects such
as birds tweeting and street
sound effects etc.
The title shown overlapping this
cloud in the background to help
set the atmosphere, at this
point the people involved in the
making of the film with slow
music in the background.
3. Counsellors Office
(S.2)
In a counsellor's office
at the beginning to
discuss her past
experiences with
family and friends. It is
then the film starts
and this is just
providing a small
introduction giving us
a small insight of the
main narrative.
4. Various shots along
the street (S. 3, 5, 7)
3; the first glimpse of Nina's childhood
and this is young Nina. There are various
cheat cuts of clothes changing to
represent how monotonous her life is. I
am filming this along a street to make it
seem realistic. Alongside this there will
be a voiceover form young Nina
representing the childish emotions. In
the front facing shot you will be able to
see her facial expressions and features.
5; Now dressed more maturely to
emphasize she is older.
7; Nina is now significantly older and
there is a close up shot before the final
flashback
5. Flashback No.1
(S.4)
First flashback of
young Nina playing
with her friends in
the park with the
ambient sound of
children playing in
the background.
6. Flashback No.2 (S.6)
Nina is now on her own
with an over shoulder shot
emphasising the friends
(also known as bullies)
walking away from her
leaving her on her own.
7. Flashback No.3
(S.8)
The final flashback is of
Nina being shouted at and
abused by her in perhaps
the living room or
kitchen? This will
represent the domestic
violence going on in Nina's
life. For this the camera
will not be on a tripod and
will be quite 'shaky' so the
audience can have point
of view shots of being hit
by the mother.
8. Approach House
(S.9)
There is now a shot
of the 'old' Nina
walking toward her
old house then
leading to a POV
shot. As well as an
estavblishing shot
of the house.
9. At house
receiving texts
from Bully (S.10)
Click to add text
POV shot and eyeline
match of Nina looking up
at her house following on
from the last scene.. There
are then texts from the
bullies that appear inset
on the screen as well as
sound effects of text
noises and eventually she
gives in a turns around to
face the bullies.
10. Back in
Counsellor’s Office
(S.11)
The bullies the proceed to beat
her up (again shaky camera
angles) then she is eventually
knocked out leading to a black
out. She then wakes up in the
counsellors office. I aim to use
the Iris editing technique to
represent her eyes opening.
This will include over the
shouldeer shots, shot reverse-shots
and the ending will have
a surprise twist establishing the
counsellor is not the perosn we
thought she originally was
leading to a graphic match on
her eyes.
