Twenty five percent of respondents is within the age range of twenty one (through/to) twenty five years of age. Twenty percent of the participants are within the age group of twenty six through thirty and the minority within the ages of thirty one through thirty five. From this it can be said that most of the respondents chosen by using the random sampling method where youths within the age gropus of fifteen through twenty years of age.
Question one on my questionnaire asked the respondent what level of education they have obtained. A vast number of the participants attained a secondary education ( 45%), followed by an primary education (35%) and the minority attaining a tertiary education (20%). From the information mentioned above it can be said that majority of the youths in lauders are not well educated
.
Question two asked the respondent how many subjects they have obtained. A great majority of the participants did not obtain a subject (35%). Thirty pecent (30%) gained under five subjects without Mathematics and english. Fifteen percent (15%) gained five subjects including mathematics and english. Ten percent (10%) gained five subjects including english alone while only five percent (5%) subjects including mathematics alone. From this it can be said that most youths are unemployed mainly because they do not have the educational qualifications or in other words they lack the compulsory subjects.
