Handwritten assignment ( 3 – 5 pages excluding cover page,reference page and attachments )
Assignments must follow a logical form;contain relevant, well-labeled tables,graphs and figures.
Components ofan assignment:
Type cover page ( green colour, refer to sample cover page )
Contents page( 3 – 5 pages- introduction, assignmentitself and conclusion)
Reference page ( alphabetical order) – text books,journals etc
Appendices (ifany)
Do not include footnotes or margin notes.
Marks may be deducted for excessive material thatdoes not directly address the assignment.
Ensure writing is legible. Use black or blue pen, not pencil(onlydrawing).
Write on one side ofthe paper only.
If preparing graphs byhand, each graph mustuse a separate sheetofruled graph paper.
Write page numbers to all pages in footer e.g. 1/10
Page layout- Left and right margins mustbe notless than 3 cm and top and bottom margins mustnotbe
less than 2.5 cm.
