1.
2. Life is like an empty canvas
and it becomes whatever you
paint on it. You can paint
misery or you can paint bliss.
It is your choice.
3. You would probably not find a single person
who aspires to be unsuccessful, but the
chances are high of actually finding many
unsuccessful people. The desire to be
successful and actually becoming
successful are governed by the colors you
choose to paint the canvas of your life.
4. So letâs start the
process of finding the
traits to become
successful.
5. SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE VISUALIZE THEIR DESIRED OUTCOME
It has been scientifically proven
that you move towards your most
dominant thought. So the 1st step
is to visualize the perfect situation
where you have achieved all that
you have ever dreamed of
somewhere in the future.
6. THEY READ A LOT
Successful people understand the
importance of constantly learning
about the business, marketplace
or endeavor they are dedicated to
succeeding in.
8. TAKE OWNERSHIP OF FAILURES
The most accomplished people, the
ones that achieve truly incredible
levels of success, give credit where
credit is due, and are not afraid "to
sit on their own bottom." They take
the blame when they deserve it and
avoid blaming others.
9. NETWORK WITH OTHER PEOPLE
It is hard to find anyone who has been seriously
successful and has not established a network.
Networking is about creating relationships. The
wider the network, as long as you are
networking with positive minded, hard-working
individuals like yourself, the greater your
chances for success, and the quicker you can
reach your dreams. No one can get it done
alone, and an effective network can help you
through the lean times on your way to success.
10. THEY MIX WITH OTHER SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE
They surround themselves with incredibly
successful people who have achieved the
things they desire and learn the skills and
tools needed to reach the goals.
You are the average of the five people
you spend the most time with.
Jim Rohn, one of the greatest marketers and salesmen
of the 20th century, quoted:
11. NOT AFRAID OF HARD WORK
CEOs, billionaires, superstar
performers, athletes and
businessmen and women list hard
work as their most identifiable
reason for success.
12. STRONG DESIRE TO ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING
A true successful person believes
in his/herability to accomplish
anything in all the endeavors
they undertake.
âJust Do itâ
13. WILLING TO TAKE RISKS
They have the patience, willpower and
determination to see things through. They
are risk takers and remain steadfast in
the face of challenges.
If you are not willing to risk the usual,
you will have to settle for the ordinary.
- Jim Rohn
14. THEY PRACTICE SELF-CONTROL
Successful people learn to
control anger or arrogance. "No
person ever became a great
leader of others until he first
learned to lead himself, through
self-control."
15. THEY ARE WILLING TO FAIL IN ORDER TO
EVENTUALLY SUCCEED
All successful people know that it doesnât come
easy and they are bound to fail more than they
will succeed atanything. The willingness to learn
from each failure,guarantees their success
later. While many people give up after failing at
something,a successful person will persevere.
Many of life's failures are people who did not
realize how close they were to success when
they gave up.
- Thomas A. Edison
