1. 1. What gender are you?
When we went out to get our questionnaire filled
in, we tried to keep the Gender as equal as
possible. Which we were relatively successful
with, having 18 males and 15 females.
2. What age are you?
The information that we receive from these
questionnaires will be very useful in the
production of our documentaries as the people
who have answered them the most are in the age
category of the target audience to our
documentary.
2. 3. What genre of music are you interested in?
From this bar chart you can see that the
most common genres of house music are
deep house and house music. By finding
this out, it helps us create a focus in genre
of music that will be in our music
documentary.
4. How often would you watch live music?
From the results of our questionnaires, in
this graph you can see that the most
common time to watch live music is annually
and nobody we interviewed watches live
music weekly. This will help us if we
included a live music section to our
documentary.
3. 5. Do you regularly watch Music Documentaries?
From this graph you can see that over half
of people who answered our questionnaire
don’t watch music documentaries. This
shows us that this is not very common to
watch, which shows to me that there could
be a gap in the market for our
documentary.
8. What would you like to see in Music Documentaries?
This question was selected in our
questionnaire to give us an idea of what
people would like to see in a Music
Documentary to give us and idea of what to
include during the production of our
documentary. The most common answer to
this question was Interviews with Dj’s and
live music.
4. 9. Which type of Narration would you prefer?
From our results you can see that the
people who answered our questionnaire
had a fairly equal spilt, with a participatory
narrator having slightly more votes than
voice of god narration. This will help us to
choose which style of narration will work
best in our documentary.
10. What time do you usually watch TV?
We ask this question on our questionnaire
to help us when we came to think about
TV Scheduling, and from our results we
have found that prime time and night time
are the most common television.
Therefore, these times would be the most
beneficial to schedule our documentary in.
