TEL1-course
• Objective
   – Students become familiar with the key concepts, competing
     theories and approaches of designing Technology-Enhanced
     Learning (TEL). In collaboration with international students they will
     develop practical skills of setting up, implementing and evaluating
     the use of distributed set of integrated TEL systems and tools, and
     they will design a prototype of an advanced TEL course. This
     course will be implemented in international collaboration.
• Content
   – Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) concept
   – Designing TEL: design process, selection of technology,
     constructing TEL environment
   – Implementing TEL
   – Evaluating TEL

Learning objectives

– Students will be capable to describe characteristics of
  TEL
– Students will be capable to define main stages of
  designing TEL
– Students will be proficient to design and implement
  pedagogically well-grounded web-course
– Students will be competent to assess pedagogical
  use of Information and Communication Technology
  (ICT).

• Research aims
   – How technology can enhance creative and effective collaborative
     learning
   – The ultimate implication leads to increased competences in
     acting and learning in complex environments where creative
     solutions for problems are required

• Practical aims
   – The practical aim of the project is to explore, develop and
     evaluate technologically enhanced learning environments
     (called collaborative spaces)
   – There will be five collaborative spaces created for different
     aged learners
   – Mobile devices, 3D-environment and social media
     applications will be used
• Partners in TEL1-course:
   – Tallinn University, Estonia
   – Valahia University Targoviste, Romania
   – Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU),
     Norway

  • 4. TEL1-course • Objective – Students become familiar with the key concepts, competing theories and approaches of designing Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL). In collaboration with international students they will develop practical skills of setting up, implementing and evaluating the use of distributed set of integrated TEL systems and tools, and they will design a prototype of an advanced TEL course.
