The Plant Page is a participatory plant project created by several individuals. It uses Instagram and Tumblr as its main platforms to share user-generated visual content focused on art and photography. Instagram allows searching by hashtags and is entirely visual, but it is difficult to contact users. Tumblr makes it easier to contact users and obtain their permission to share work, but it can be hard to find the original source. The Plant Page prioritizes building quality relationships with users and giving proper credit over growing viewership numbers. It has created a QR code to help go offline and get more creative.
