2. My rationale.
PDHPE is a subject that concerned with supporting
and developing students wellbeing, inclusive of
social, mental, physical and spiritual health to
improve students
knowledge, understanding, skills, values and
attitudes that will enable them to lead a healthy
and quality of life for each individual student.
Parent are encourage to assist teachers with
PDHPE program outside of school environment by
getting your child(ren) to be active and eating
healthy at home.
3. Importance of PDHPE
In our rapidly changing society there is
increasing community awareness of the
importance of healthy lifestyles. The
resultant good health is characterised by
improved quality of life, less sickness and
disability, happier personal, family and
social experiences and the opportunity to
make choices in work and recreation.
