2. The
INDIA
Market
There is a proliferation of electronic
gadgets, from tablets and set-top boxes
to personal medical devices and
automotive applications. All these
products need chips to run and India
has been importing all of it.
3. Potential
Market
Ahead
India, today consumes close to $7 billion of semiconductor
products every year. By 2020, when the total Electronic
System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) market is
expected to reach $ 400 billion, this consumption is
expected to rise to $55 billion. With the location of a fab in
India, the country could potentially achieve a degree of
self-sufficiency in electronics, and partially reduce the very
high supply chain risks that India is exposed to, without an
alternate source for procurement.
India has embarked on the journey of setting up
semiconductor wafer fab on commercial basis. Two
consortia have initiated work in this regard.
One of the consortia is made up of Jaiprakash Associates
Ltd and TowerJazz and IBM. It plans to set up a plant near
New Delhi at a cost of Rs. 34,399 crores,
The second comprises HSMC Technologies India Private
Ltd, Malaysia's Silterra and STMicroelectronics. The group
has proposed investment of Rs. 29,013 crores

maintenance division of GMS. He is well versed in
electronic circuitry and operations and installs and
maintains high technology equipment at customer
sites.
With almost 20 years of experience in maintaining
and troubleshooting electronic equipment, he can
handle breakdown independently. We are proud to
say that till now, we had not had to call an engineer
from the original equipment manufacturer.
9. We have dealt with equipment and materials pertaining to front and back end processing
of semiconductors and MEMS., microelectronics packaging and solar cells for satellites.
10. Solar Cells from Azur Space Solar Power GmbH to ISRO Satellite
Centre for its satellite programs.
Introduced many wafer bonder from Applied Microengineering
Limited, UK to Laboratory for Electro Optics Systems (LEOS),
Society for Integrated Circuit Technology and Research (SITAR)
and other premier research institutes like IITs.This enabled
leading companies in the development of MEMS sensors for high
reliability applications.
Scanning Acoustic Microscopes (SAM) from Sonoscan,USA to
HELA systems,Space Applications Centre (SAC) and Society for
Integrated Circuit Technology and Research (SITAR) for failure
analysis testing of strategic sensors and components.
Sourced a full set of wire bonding tools from F&K Delvotec
Semiconductor to fulfil SITAR’s requirement for high reliability
semiconductor components, which no other company in the world
had been able to.
