According to futurist and sociologist, Kingsley L. Dennis, humanity is entering a momentous phase in its history. Being born today is a generation of children that will radically reinvent human society, moving our culture from competition, control, and censorship toward connection, communication, and compassion. The Phoenix Generation's impact will begin to be felt in 2030, but there much to do to prepare for their arrival. This presentation looks at some of the changes in Economics, Education, Media, Health, Politics & Technology that the author considers will be emerging in the coming years.
11. Classrooms will no longer be contained within
4-walled rooms - learning spaces will be more
interactive, communicative, and
collaborative
12. Students will have access to a varied range of
teachers as well as learning from their peers
around the world
13. 3D Learning
Mixed learning environments – no longer called
classrooms – will utilize an array of online and virtual
collaborative spaces, such as ‘3-D worlds’, with students
having avatars and digital identities
14. The learning process will be made more fun.
Students will use an array of virtual games and
online puzzle solving activities to exercise
creativity
15. Learning modules will become more individually
customized. Students will have more influence in
directing their learning process according to their
needs, wishes, and motivations
17. There will be a dramatic turn away from the
belief, confidence, and trust in the current
health industry
18. Those of the Phoenix Generation will listen more to their
Bodies - they will be more careful over what they ingest
(food and medicine); and they will instinctively
feel what their bodies need
19. There will be increased confidence and support of what
are now considered ‘alternative’ health practices;
especially energy medicine and non-local healing
20. Health, illness – and death - will be viewed as
transitional states; thus empathy, compassion,
and love will play greater roles in the process of
healing
21. The emergence of new scientific knowledge
will help humans to live longer
37. Fears over privacy, data-collection, and a
surveillance society will give way to technologies
that enhance transparency, connection and
collaboration

40. Quantum computing will be a main driver in the
development of a new generation of technologies
