During her tenure as the Program manager, students are performing better in most subjects. This is due to the before and
afterschool homework assistance she has implemented through City Year and to the systems she has instituted to ensure
program success. Ms. Gernert has developed relationships with outside agencies to ensure Dr. Charles R. Drew Middle
School has all the necessary funds to ensure the success of our students.
