1. Reader profile
My average reader would be 18
years old and of a male gender. He
would be a student with a part
time job, as his class system is
ABC1. Therefore he will have left
over money to spend on luxuries
such as magazines. He will be of a
white (British) ethnicity. He would
go to festivals where rock bands
play such as download or Leeds
fest.
A typical reader would have
tattoos because stereotypically
people of a rock genre have
tattoos as a way of expressing
themselves. I will include a
competition or article on fans that
have tattoos in memory of bands
or certain band members. They will have the chance to send in
pictures of their tattoos to the magazine and I’ll pick the best few
and either have an article on them or prizes will be awarded. This will
show the magazine is all about the fans and that if they get involved
with the magazine prizes will be awarded.
I will also include chances to win band t shirts as my average reader
is a student they will want freebies and also my average reader
would want band t shirt as that is their style.
