2014 has come in under an extreme weather alert,
following a volatile weather year in general, with heat
waves, flooding, freezing temperatures and more snow
than we’ve seen in a number of years. The good news
is that the weather really hasn’t had any discernible
impact on our local or regional housing markets.
While we saw a moderate balancing of the marketplace
activity after a heated 2012 year, 2013 was remarkably
stable in both activity and price increases.
This year promises to be another great year in real
estate, with stable interest rates predicted and economic
news that continues to be envied globally. Whether

market is as strong as ever with the promise of stability
