Kristen collected leaf samples from 12 different trees in September 2007 in Haubstadt and Fort Branch, Indiana. The trees included Shortleaf Pine, Black Locust, Silver Maple, Ohio Buckeye, White Ash, White Mulberry, Black Maple, Pin Oak, Redbud, Umbrella Magnolia, and Ginkgo. For each tree, the summary provides the common name, scientific name, location found, date, and environmental setting.
