2. About the workshop
The Media Lab India Initiative is an effort
by students and alumni from the MIT
Media Lab to bring together a community
of makers and creators across India, and
to facilitate collaboration and sharing of
ideas across boundaries of disciplines,
institutions and culture.
Number of Participants: Around 380
participants were chosen out of around
2,000 applications.

This track was about creating technologies to
enable banking interactions as our physical
and virtual worlds become intertwined,
interfaces for the future of transactions over
social and mobile networks, and principles
that will transform banking in the next decade.
