The hostel is located in an authentic
local Portuguese neighborhood in the
heart of Lisbon.

Traditional and cultural area with many
local restaurants, bars, shops and
peaceful parks.

All the city hotspots are very near.

There are 2 metro stations less than
1km away from the hostel.

− 8 bed mixed dorm from € 13.00
− 6 bed mixed dorm from € 15.00

7. Management challenges

The hostel opened around 2 years ago.

The work team is very international:
− Russia, Brazil, Holland, Austria and Portugal

Work exchange and internships.

“Home away from home” feeling.

The challenge is to become more
professional without loosing the fun part.

8. How they've managed

Marketing:
– Good websites and high visibility in social
media

Working language is English

They have 4 different shifts:
– Reception shift (check in/check out)
– Night shift (take care of the order and put out the breakfast)
– Garden shift (Organize BBQ parties, etc. in the garden)
– Entertainment shift (Organize excursions for guests)

9. “Home away from home”

The hostel offers cozy and relaxed place
to stay.

Decorated by passing travelers and
enriched with tales of travels.
