Provide accomplishment form and task training check list…will be kept on file for each student worker.
Specialized training…Explain what jobs require additional training and how that will be conducted
Discuss the objective of performance review: to evaluate training success and identify the areas that student workers may need help.
Go over the “formalities:” Org chart and contact info, scheduling, reporting absences, using email distribution. Handouts for students to keep.

Being successful requires learning how to do the job (tasks) and how to do your work (professionalism).
Discuss online wiki…where to find it, instruct to read through the wiki and complete the contract.
Go over what is on the website, including OPAC so they know how to look something up. (Should we do a separate class to use databases?)
Explain what Dewey Easy is and how that fits into their training.
