2. Anime Definition & Features
Anime usually consists of lines to show movement. It makes a still
image look like it’s moving. They also exaggerate moods, body language
and facial expressions, there is a variety of vibrant colours incorporated
with these. For example a character who possesses great power will
have an exaggeration on their aura, physical movement and facial
expression.

3. History
• Anime began in the 20th century.
• The first generation of animators in the late 1910s included Ōten Shimokawa,
Jun'ichi Kōuchi and Seitaro Kitayama, referred to as the "fathers" of anime. During
World War II, propaganda films such as Momotarō no Umiwashi (1943) and
Momotarō: Umi no Shinpei (1945) were made, the latter being the first anime
feature film.

4. My favourite Anime – Dragonball z/GT
This anime was created by Akira Toriyama. It involves fast paced action
scenes along with various vibrant colours.
This is my favourite anime because it was the most appealing anime to
me as a kid. At the age of 10 I came across it on the Toonarmi channel
where they showed the amazing, omnipotent power of the main
protagonist, Goku fighting against Frieza. I featured cool hairstyles and
lots of fighting.
