The Dearest Poems of the Poets of our Generation….. Bayangan, Karen Cas-ing, Daniel Gonzales, Ruby Ann Lillef, Jeremy Opinaldo, Ma. Eunice Vinluan, Ruth
“Newly bought bike of mine” Of: Ma. Eunice P. Opinaldo.
On the middle of the day At the peak of sun’s rays Came to me a great thrill Of strolling to an open view With my newly bought bike   Asking Papa, “Can I go with my bike?” Gladly, he let me, for just one One great reminder, “ just beside the house.” Pretendingly, I nod, knowing I’m not Just to be there, but, somewhere far beside there.   Strolling, strolling, strolling As those of my bike was rolling As I go to the open view Seeing all people around as to play Along the grounds of subdivisions park
Suddenly, a man with a conspicuous look Came near to me, asking for For some favor, of if He can use this newly bought bike of mine Letting me know he has something to Get of I don’t know I nod, and let him.   Seconds and minutes I’ve wait for him As I see the sun’s rays goes down I’m bit confused, I’m bit afraid. Not knowing it takes hours of waiting Until realizing that you’ve taken away from me The newly bought bike of mine.
My good pet Jeremy Lillef
A beautiful nature around me The mountain and trees that I always see That gives energy in my daily activity And I do it day by day. I work and play everyday I do it night and day My soul and body likes to fly away It is because I’m too busy like a bee The night came and the day passed Because I enjoy working the time is too fast I want to sleep but I can’t So I guard the house a lot of manna. In a room my body was laid on bed But I feel something and I’m not to stay There’s something creeping and playing So I called his attention and he barked.
“toycars” Of: Ma. Eunice P. Opinaldo.
You’re there again. So glad Being with your tiny enchanting toy cars You’re there again. Creating Making a world of your own A world of where Your control is dwelling   I can’t help but to chuckle From the distance – I I can see, those smiles Those infectious joy that Obsess you my bro, can be As true as the cheer of a babe   For anything, everything That brings pleasure to you You let these to be compact with your world of play That thrills more your game Even the one others think of no use
Huge books on our shelf Glassy cups and plates on dish container Is lied before your eyes To make complete of Your world of play through The middle age of our house   I hear those bangs and cracks Varied sounds of clashes along walls Of those dropping toy cars of yours Of flying books, plates and glasses And with those you’re filled with joy On the point of noticing nothing
My Importance by: Ruth Vinluan
How special am I You gave me everything You keep on looking at me Checking everything to be right     Keeping hazards away from me Preparing everything I need Giving the best for me Sometimes even expensive     Asking others how was it What do they think Trying to make me perfect That no one can say anything     After a while, what did you do? Ignore me and throw me away Well who am I to you? I’m just a used napkin.
Of: Karen Bayangan REVERSE
Days start again With mask in my face That I cannot remove it Because I’m not on it   Activities were done Without being serious on it Because of masked ignorance That deny the real I am   Until dark comes in My misery comes out Secret comes reveals And unknown denied   Night claims me to be true Because darkness sets me free Not like the brightest day That hinders me to be free
COVERED WITH SOIL By: Karen Bayangan
Real sound comes along my way Gold, silvers of what I see The throne of king that amaze me Surrounding with wings maybe.     Walking through this metallic element Something attracts me a lot Creature that once I belong That’s realization comes along     Now that soil already covered me It’s too late to say what I say But hear my whisper Daddy Because you’re my foundation in a day     Your love defeats my violations Your words challenges me To stand I my own feet Engaging me to a real relationship
Zany became crazy By: Ruth Vinluan
We tend to be happy ‘ though we’re not Laugh because everybody’s laughing Pretending we don’t know how to cry Giving advice to problems we don’t encounter     Making people happy While we’re in sorrow Being Zany to someone For we want to be happy   Escaping the reality Hiding the real you And become zany to others Making their life so colorful     At the end of the day You are again alone and No one’s willing to be a zany for you Until you become crazy
Of: Daniel Cas-ing Perfect combination
Stressed at night but comfortable When I used to seat on you butt. And used to lay on your head Ooh, how magnificent you are.   I might not be without elongated neck That comprises your soft butt and head You make me big and you make me small Whenever I pulled your one hand along Along your shiny one leg, but most of all Your five feet with five wheel Of foundation that makes you beautiful.
ABUSE Of: Ruby Ann Gonzales
Happiness hides its face from me Loneliness is my company The past that I can’t replace My life is like the air that I can’t activate     Every morning is a misery day for me Suffering makes me a slavery Memory I can’t erase The love I can’t embrace     I don’t know what love means to me It’s like a gold that was stolen from me I know this story is my crown I can stand even I fall on the ground
Murder of jealous By Jeremy Lillef
The day of the eventI don’t expect that sceneWhen I saw a body drainedThe blood flew and the dead laid But I don’ know what to doI kill my best friend by bowAnd a knife that I used, I threwMy conscience is telling me not to go So the policeman came to meTied my hand of sin and I seeI see a blood in his body layBecause of the alcohol I took, he paid Now, I’m in a vertical iron roomI can’t forget the day I kill the groomToday is he’s marriage but he is in the tombBecause I’m jealous in the bride and the throne.
Key to Run By: Daniel Cas-ing
Shopping under the rain Enjoys whatever it sees Laughing with no reasons Then locked by multiple eyes     I tried to find the key But it took me long until – Unlocked by a well – known stranger My heart jumps as he wanted to run     My body wanted too, But too late to run Then I found myself wiping the stairs By the magic of “basi”
I WANT, SAITH GOD BY: RUBY ANN GONZALES
I want my people well. I have desired for my people to walk in health. I have desired for my people to Know how to walk in health. I want my people to know how to take my Word. And stand on my Word. And receive my healing power And know that I am the Lord. I want my people to walk with me. In health and in life and know the good things That I have prepared for them.
In the beginning, Was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.... -The Book of John
