Joe Gersh graduated from Melbourne University in 1979 with a B.Comm LLb (Hons). He now sits on the board and is a director of many public and private companies. He is the Executive Chairman of Gersh Investment Partners. In the past, he was also chairman of the Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (APRC). Joseph Gersh is also involved in the arts having sat as a director for ArtBank, the federal governments art rental scheme supporting emerging Australian artists), the National Institute of Circus Arts, and as the deputy chairman of the Australian council for the Arts.
