3. General Chairman of the Vehicular Technology Conference held in Denver, May, 1992
(VTC'92) sponsored by the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society. This conference featured 600 in
attendance from 27 countries. Approximately 270 technical papers were presented over the three day
conference. This conference was the 42nd annual VTC conference and has become one of the
premier IEEE sponsored technical conferences on mobile radio communications.
4. IEEE Faculty adviser, University of Denver Chapter, 1991-1993. Several students won
first or second place in the IEEE Denver Section student paper contest during this time.
5. EE Undergraduate Curriculum Chair, University of Denver, 1990-1997. During this time
two successful ABET visits occurred and a 5 year joint BSEE/MBA program was set up.
6. Served on EE faculty committee to design an MSEE program.
7. University of Denver Core Curriculum Representative elected by the College of Natural
Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering, 1991-1994. This campus wide committee completely
revamped the University of Denver core curriculum content during the past two years.
8. Visit High Schools in the Denver metro area speaking to science classes about careers in
engineering. Lecturer on Image Processing for the University of Denver High School Engineering
Institute.
9. Adjunct professor at CSM as part of proposal team for their PhD in Electrical

(Proceedings/publications chair). DASP is a joint DSTO/AFOSR/AOARD sponsored workshop for
