2. Man is a sinner.

3. From the beginning God had a plan.

5. But, God did not create machines.

6. His creation was able to choose and make up his own mind.

7. When God created the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, He gave them only one restriction.

8. They were not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil located in the Garden of Eden.

9. God’s Word was clear. Adam and Eve doubted it. They did the one thing God commanded them not to do.

10. Sin (disobedience, wrong-doing) separated God and man. (See Psalm 66:18; Isaiah 59:2.)

11. God would not go against His Word. He kept His promise of death.

12. What a terrible price to pay for one small piece of fruit.

13. Because of their disobedience, sin entered into the world.

14. Since that time, everyone is conceived in sin.

15. You may ask, “What is sin?” Sin is – Lawlessness, Disobedience; Doing things against God’s will and word. It is following our own thoughts, desires, and wicked ways. SIN

16. Evil thoughts give birth to evil actions.

17. When sin is full grown it brings God’s penalty of eternal death.

18. Let’s Look at the Scriptures.

19. (Romans 5:12). “ Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” Let’s Look at the Scriptures:

20. “ As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10). Let’s Look at the Scriptures:

21. “ Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me” (Psalm 51:5). Let’s Look at the Scriptures:

22. (Galatians 3:22). Let’s Look at the Scriptures: “ But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe”

23. “ Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” (James 4:17). Let’s Look at the Scriptures:

24. “ Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law” (1 John 3:4). Let’s Look at the Scriptures:

25. (1 John 1:8-10). Let’s Look at the Scriptures: “ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us”

26. God HATES sin. God LOVES the sinner.

27. On one hand, God is merciful and does not want to punish man. On the other hand, God is just and must deal with sin.

28. “ For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). Let’s Look at the Scriptures:

29. (Exodus 34:7). Let’s Look at the Scriptures: “ Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty”

30. (Romans 5:19). Let’s Look at the Scriptures: “ For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous”

31. The bottom line is this: Man is a sinner.

32. But there is good news!

33. (Romans 5:8). “ But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”
