1. Ebeid Hospice Residence
Promedica Health Systems
Project Description
ProMedica Health Systems engaged Diekema Hamann Architecture to
design their first hospice residence and LEED accredited facility. The
facility is located on their Flower Hospital campus. The residence for
hospice care offers twelve resident rooms; each with a private patio
overlooking a wooded portion of the hospital campus. The hospice
home offers a variety of places for families and friends to visit with loved
ones or find some quiet; a four season porch, family rooms, a meditation
room and a space dedicated to alternative therapies. Resident rooms
accommodate families sleeping in and space for family gatherings.
The patios and on site walking paths give residents and their families
opportunities to enjoy the natural setting.
Ebeid Hospice Residence has received LEED Certification and is the first
hospice residence in Ohio to do so.
