Yehoshua told meraglim to go into Ai and see how the people there would
behave if Bnei Yisrael conquer it.
Yehoshua only told 3000 soldiers to go into Ai because he
thought Ai was weak.
The Jews did not know why they lost. Hashem gave Yehoshua a
message saying some one has stolen something.
HA,HA,HA!
                              NOW I’LL BE
                                 RICH!




Achan stole something precious and some valuable metals like gold
and silver.
Because Achan did not obey Hashem , he was killed.
Yehoshua was thinking, then thought of a plan. He told thirty thousand men to
wait behind the walls of Ai. Meanwhile, he and a smaller army would attack.
Lets
                                 attack!




Ai started to attack the Jews.
Lets go
                              after
                             them!            Go, go,
                                               go!




The Jews pretended to escape and the king of Ai ran after them that meant no
one was protecting the city.
Yehoshua lifted his javelin to show a sign to the Jews that were waiting to go
into Ai and set it on fire.
The Jews had won !
