Real Details
About Camp Cherith
North Central Camp Cherith is an interdenomi-
national Christian camp affiliated with Pioneer
Clubs and the Association of Camp Cherith
camps. Our aim is two-fold: introduce campers
to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and help
them apply Christian principles to daily living.
We are located on 280 stunning acres of lakes,
woods, and rolling hills near the Detroit Lakes
area - approximately 4 hours northwest of the
Twin Cities.
With our smaller camp size and camper to staff
ratio, all staff have the opportunity to model a
personal walk with Jesus, facilitate conversations,
and encourage lasting friendships among the
campers.
We believe strongly in running separate camps
for girls and boys. Without the social pressure
of the co-ed dynamic, boys and girls are much
more willing to take healthy risks and try new
things. We want our campers to experience the
thrill of letting their real personalities shine as
they go all-out to be the person God has de-
signed them to be.
