1. Photography plan
Task 12
Front cover: My first photo idea for my front cover will
have an overall aggressive and negative feel. The
background will just be black and I will Photoshop this in
to create full effect and make it seem more realistic and
it will make it look better. I will create the negative feel
by having a medium close up shot of the persons face to
show the depressed, aggressive emotion. The costume
will consist of ripped, ragged clothing like an old t-shirt.
The make-up will be dark make-up, like dark eye shadow
around the eyes and purple lipstick. The hair will be
rather big and back combed so it looks like it's not looked
after.
My second photo idea is once again just to have a plain
black background and to use a close up again. This time
the expression will be more depressed and sad as they
won’t be looking at the camera but away into distance
with a sad emotion. The make-up will once again consist
of dark colours like they eye shadow and lipstick. Hair
will once again be big and back combed.
The double page spread: This photo will consist of a
large image coving the whole of the page. The
background will be a grave yard, showing the grave
stones in the background. I will use a slight lower angle
shot to make the two people look bigger then what
they actually are. I will also uses a long shot to show
what the two people are wearing and how they’re
being portrayed. The body language will show the two
people as careless by having their body language as
quite relax. The facial expression once again will be
aggressive and depressed. The costume will be ripped,
black skinny jeans with checker shirts tied round the
waist with large chunky boots. On top there will be
just plan black tops with oversized denim/ leather
jackets. The make-up will be dark copper make up
around the eyes with quick chunky/ oversized
eyebrows and for the lips dark lipstick will be used. For
the hair two wigs will be used, a ginger one and a red
to give the image that ‘punk’ feel.
My second photo idea is once again going to have the
same back ground as the first idea and will be of the
same shot. The body language will be a bit different as
the two people will be sitting down in the fallen leaves
and looking at the floor. Their emotion will be a lot
more depressed and sad. The costume will be slightly
more feminine with dark long skirts and black tops, but
will be wearing the oversized with the chunky boots
again. Their make- up will once again be the dark
make-up like dark eye shadows and lipsticks. The hair
will be big and colourful again.
Content page: My first image idea is going to be of a girl with dark make-up pulling a childish fun
expression with a low angle shot making her seem slightly bigger then she is. The background will just be
a wood like, dark area. My second image will be two girls standing next to each other in identical clothing
and make up which will be dark make up again with a long shot to see their outfits. The background will be
of a dark, abandoned place. My third picture will be of a boy having a depressed facial expression and
looking about rugged and careless. His outfit will just be ripped clothing and black and there will just be a
black background. For this a medium shot will be used to show his facial expression/ his outfit. My last
image will be of a group of people not really posing but like there at a gig. I will use a high angled shot t do
this. The clothing once again will be black and ripped. The back ground you wont really see but it will just
be of a plain room.
