Himalayan Community Foundation providing earthquake relief and health care to remote villages in Bhotang V.D.C. in Sindhupalchok, Nepal. We also provided health services in Kirtipur and Old Sinamangal (Pepsi Cola Town Planning). Our program for the summer concluded with an interactive Health Education and Empowerment Program at Mahendra Primary and Secondary School. We look forward to seeing them again soon!

Ms. Tamang is a 10th grader, who will be taking her SLC (School Leaving Certificate) exam this
year. This year, her father died from liver complications, and her mother is blind. We have given
her enough financial support to get her through this academic year, so she can focus on
studying. However, we will be looking for a more permanent sponsor for her college studies.
