…The kids are not all doing the same thing. They are all doing very different things.
A group of four children is in one corner of the room assembling a jigsaw puzzle together.
Another group of five is at a kidney‐shaped table with the teacher, working on iden?fying
shapes, colors, and the le@ers of the alphabet. Other children are working independently,
wri?ng le@ers or words. S?ll others are drawing pictures at their tables.
