Creating S.M.A.R.T. Goals
Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Realistic
Timely
Specific – Find a job, to pay for my horse.
*Who: Job interviews and myself.
*What: I would like to achieve a job to be able to provide for my horse.
*Where: Longhorn or another restaurant.
*When: Within a month
*Which: I need to make a good impression to the manager to consider me.
*Why: I would like to show my parents I can care for my horse all on my own.
Measurable – 1. I need to get the job that brings in a good paycheck.
2. Save up one hundred and thirty dollars each month.
3. I will shoe the manager I am dedicated.
Attainable – 1. Be at the job to talk to the manager, bright and early.
2. Dress nice
3. Be myself, and smile. (look friendly)
Realistic – I would have to be willing to be determined. When I am determined, I will find a job and be
able to provide for my horse and more.
Timely - I believe a one month time period can be enough to have a couple of interviews and maybe be
able to have a job. I will keep my horse until his last day.
