&Planning
Level 4 – 16 to 20 marks

2. Planning and research evidence will be
complete and detailed.
All the stages of the process of making the documentary to be shown on our research
and planning blogs, in order to show the process in which I went through in order to
complete my documentary. Analysing any alternations I made when completing my
documentary; keeping it thorough and clearly portrayed on my blog. Clearly show
each section to our documentary as a step by step and analysing each part to show
and explain exactly why we did what we did, in order to make it clear to the examiner
and show the process.

3. There is excellent research into similar products
and a potential target audience.
Showing evidence in research, such as: questionnaire,
questionnaire analysis, further evaluation, target audience,
effects, shots, photographs/potential channel. Clearly portraying
evidence of how we will fit around our target audience in order
to successfully attract our target audience.

4. There is excellent work on shotlists, layouts, drafting,
scripting or storyboarding.
Using different presentation software such as: prezi,
sliderocket/slideshare etc to portray the planning towards our
documentary. Showing the evidence of planning with the use of
storyboards, photographs of the set place, timeline, animation
on the storyboard, the link between out photography storyboard
and scripts with our inspiration (educating essex).

5. There is excellent organisation of actors,
locations, costumes or props.
Photographs of the location in which we will be
filming, also the actors or props we will be using,
and using a detailed analysis of the photographs
showing evidence of why will be using the
location/actor or props.

6. Time management is excellent.
Showing evidence of step by step progression of
our documentary, as well as a time scale
(timeline) to keep by, in order to complete our
documentary within a reasonable timescale and
creating it at our best ability.

7. There is excellent skill in the use of digital technology
or ICT in the presentation.
Using different software to portray each aspect, using 8
different medias:
• Slide rocket
• Slide share
• Prezzi
• Youtube/Animation/videos
• Wordle
• Word
• Powerpoint
• iMovie

8. There are excellent communication
skills.
Portraying excellent communication; keeping it
clear and simple, either by text or video of self
talking within the progress of making my
documentary on my blog.

9. There is an excellent level of care in the
presentation of the research and planning.
Creating and showing excellent presentation skills
within my blog enabling my to show the process within
making my blog. Making every aspect of my research
and planning creative and eye catching for my audience
to understand every aspect of process of making within
my blog.
