2. PROPS
• The fact that my music video consists almost
entirely of close ups of the performers, props are
scarce.
• However, after finishing editing my video I felt
that I needed to add more to it, therefore I took a
camera home and filmed a persons foot tapping
to the beat of the song. Therefore I needed a
persons shoe or trainer.
3. CLOTHING
• These were the only props that I had to consider when
filming my music video.
• The genre of the music video dictated which and what
style of clothing my performers would wear.
• The Indie style genre meant that the clothes had to
compliment this genre, so I got my performers to wear
Indie style clothing when filming them.
4. CLOTHING
• For example:
I got one of my performer to wear a checked shirt so that they would look as if
they were part of the Indie ‘scene’. Also a Barbour jacket is worn frequently by
this group of people so was essential for my performer to wear it.
5. CLOTHING
• The style of shoe was very important as I featured several close ups of it throughout.
Vans are typically worn by the Indie genre but so are boots so I was indecisive about
which to use, so I asked friends and teachers and used Vans as it was of popular opinion.
