• Carry out final inspection with build card

Fusion Welder / Assembler / Inspection - this involved:
• Preparation and inspection of joints to be welded and once welded checking for integrity and undercut, the
form, length and depth of weld
• Profiling panels
• First off inspection which included non-destructive testing i.e. chisel checking spots etc
• CO2 mig welding of aluminium joints
French Polisher - this involved:
• Preparation and inspection of wooden veneered components
• Visual inspection of components
• Hand-flatting using various grades of paper from 800 g grit to 200 g grit
• Check lacquer paint application for defects and runs and repair where necessary
• Polish components with various cutting pastes
• Final inspection of component to customer requirements

• Application of sealer and the preparation of vehicle prior to painting.
• Final line inspection which included total check of body and paint, trim that all fits where correct to customer
build. Once all checks completed this was then passed to the customer acceptance line then sent to the
dealership.
