Are Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian
taking Manhattan, too? The reality TV
sisters are looking to make New York
the home base of their business with a
huge, “full-concept Kardashian lifestyle
experience,” a source tells Page Six.
Kourtney and Khloé, who much to the
dismay of locals have been staying in
the Hamptons to film their E! show this
summer, descended on Soho Thursday
with their full entourage in tow to look
at a five-story corner property at 63
Spring St.
According to a source, the sisters plan on turning the first two floors of the 5,500- square-foot building into a
flagship store for their clothing line, Dash, and using the remaining three floors to house offices dealing with the
family’s businesses.
The space is owned by real estate mogul Jack Terzi of JTRE, who bought it for $15 million in May. The whole
building is renting for $2 million a year, says an insider.
We’re told Terzi, along with his broker, Ricky Braha, personally gave the Kardashian team an in-depth tour of the
space.
The building features 80-foot-long wraparound windows, which would be perfect for paparazzi.
“Some 300 photographers and fans were crowding the building en masse while they were checking it out,” a
witness tells us. “They were pulling out their cellphone cameras and crowding them to try and get a shot.”
But renting to the family can be a curse. Irma Herzog, the owner of Driver’s Seat restaurant on Jobs Lane who
rented a Southampton storefront to the Kardashians for the summer, has reportedly been “tormented and
harassed” by her tony neighbors.
The Kardashians currently have a Dash store in Soho at 119 Spring St. There are also boutiques in Miami and Los
Angeles, along with the much-maligned pop-up space on Jobs Lane, where they’re shooting “Kourtney and Khloé
Take the Hamptons.”
A rep for the sisters had no comment.
