2. I visited Budapest in November 2012 to visit the grave of
my husbandâs Hungarian Jewish family.We discovered that
anti-Semitism is still very much alive in Eastern Europe.
I wrote âOne Day In Budapestâ as an action-adventure
thriller that portrays a chilling possible future.These slides
portray the sites included in the story.

4. Memorial park to the Hungarian Jewish martyrs of the
Shoah, the Holocaust. Each leaf is inscribed with a name.
The park also has tribute to Raoul Wallenberg, one of the
Righteous Among Nations, who protected Jews.
5. Shoes on the Danube. Memorial to Jews killed by Arrow
Cross militia on the banks of the river in WWII.They
were asked to remove their shoes before being shot.
