Sir,
I feel honored that Mr. JC Suma, Chevron Infrastructure manager want me to stay back to support the
infrastructure team. I have agreed to stay for another four weeks, meaning two straight rotations so that I will go
out with my group on 30th October. I don’t need any extra pay to give support any time the need so arise as in this
case.
I subject myself to SGC regulations as regards the issue of payment as money is not my reason of staying
behind. We are at the height of reviewing all outstanding works in Infrastructure and the team appreciates my
input and wants me to stay behind and give my support. With all sense of humility, I intend to stay behind and
give my little support.
Best regards,
Akande Johnson

Mr Johnson must be allowed to go on leave as per normal cycle. Matt can cover for that week supported if
required by Walter and Suketu. We have no provision for payment in lieu and we can not make a presedence

Subject: Akande Johnson' vacation pay and extra stay
Andrea,
Akande, Johnson (scheduler), was supposed to leave on his rotational leave tomorrow; with no replacement. The
Project can not afford to loose the only scheduler we have, since we are in the middle of scheduling the
Infrastructure tasks, as you are well aware. Therefore, I have asked him to stay and continue his good work to
support us. He would be working during his scheduled vacation time; and therefore, he must get paid for his
earned vacation time; in addition to his pay for all the time that he is going to work during the time which was
supposed to be his off time. For some reason, he is being told otherwise by your HR department. Please help
clarify the situation so that he can stay and keep on doing his job. Thanks.
