Overview: Our highly successful financial client downtown Toronto is seeking a highly qualified BASIS Administrator
for their growing SAP project team. You impact the organization is to maintain the sustainability, availability, and
continuity of the SAP applications systems and provide SAP systems support to a diverse SAP environment (CRM, PI,
ECC, banking, BW, and Solution Manager).
Things you need to have:
4-5 years as a SAP BASIS Administrator
Support and upgrade experience with ABAP / Java stack
Minimum 1 large or 2 medium-large full SAP development life-cycle experience
Technical experience with ECC 6.0, Netweaver 7.0, BW/BI, PI, EP, CRM, banking services & solution
manager
Configuration and maintenance of transport management system of a complex landscape
Database management (Oracle preferred), eg. restores, system refreshes, managing data dictionary
Strong documentation, analysis, problem solving
SAP Technical Certification is preferred
University Degree in Computer Science or related area from accredited institution
It would be great if you also had:
Positive trouble-shooting nature
Personality that takes initiative, gets engaged, seeks to contribute
Ideally some consulting background (professional services or system integration firms)
Basic ABAP
Oracle
What you will be doing:
Maintaining the availability and growth of the SAP systems, along with providing support to client users. The
role provides daily monitoring of PRD and non-PRD SAP systems, manages elements associated with
transports and releases, along with providing SAP System back-up and maintenance and is responsible for
documenting SAP BASIS policies and procedures.
