I have been associated with the bank since 2007. I joined Axis Bank as Deputy Manager in the Information Technology
Department and currently, I am working as Assistant Vice President (IT-Portfolio Lead) handling the Payments and
Collections Portfolio for the Bank which includes Delivery Host integration, Corporate and Retail facing Portals for
initiating Payments, and Technology roadmap and also include the consolidation of Silo systems to an Enterprise
Platform. During the year some most critical tasks completed are:
• Development of applications used by branches internally.
• Automated the processes to reduce manual work and zeroed down the transaction failure rate.
• Implementation of complete corporate payment systems i.e. payPro.
• Implementation of complete corporate collections system (CMS) i.e. Profunds.
• Integration with internal systems to process IFT, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and IMT payments, Cash Delivery.
• Integration with Core Banking online channel to process accounting entries.
• Host to Host Integration of sub members (i.e. Co-operative Banks) with Payments System.
• Implemented module to print customer cheques at client premises.
• Implemented Cash Delivery module to disburse funds to beneficiary Door Step.
• Implemented ADM (Auto Debit Mandate) module in Collections system.
• Implemented Unified MIS module to cater customized reverse feed to CMS and payments clients.
• Architecture the solution for Business Banking Department.

• In depth knowledge of Cheque Clearing.
• Key role in the architecting and centralization process of Bank’s Payment
Systems and implementing corporate payments application - payPro in bank.
• Key role and involvement in multiple Integrations required for the application
like NEFT, RTGS, IMPS processing. Also direct integration with client. Active
participation in executing the pilot project for the Bank.
• In depth knowledge of IMT (Instant Money Transfer) process.
