The ACI Dealing Certificate is an internationally recognized qualification. The syllabus
includes:

As can be seen the course content is fairly extensive and is therefore applicable to a
wide range of market practitioners – be they bank or corporate dealing staff.

2. 1. Face to Face Workshops
Our goal is to ensure that all the candidates pass the exam. Our experience has proved that
the best way to achieve this goal is via face to face training in a workshop type environment.
Due to the diversity of the course content we have found that whilst some candidates are
familiar with some portions of the course content there are always areas of which they are
totally unfamiliar. In the workshop environment the candidates are able to interact with both
the course director as well as the other candidates - each learning from one another.
2. Practice! Practice and more Practice!
The course presentation is subdivided into the same 7 sections as are tested in the exam. At
the end of each section the candidates will complete “mini” tests comprising of 15 to 25
possible exam questions. The candidates will also write a practice exam based on the actual
Dealing Certificate exam – 90 questions to be completed in 120 minutes. Over the course of
the 5 days therefore, the candidates would have completed at least 250 possible exam
questions – this for an exam comprising only 90 questions. In other words, we want our
candidates to be “more than adequately” prepared to write the exam.
3. Experience
Our course directors are market practitioners. The course director for this workshop will be.
Mike Sandler. Mike has 18 years dealing experience as well as being a qualified senior
school teacher. He has written (and passed!) the exam himself so that he is not “training in a
vacuum” but will be training and discussing what he has experienced in the exam. Delegates
are essentially coached on how to write and pass the exam. Full Value Training have
conducted extensive training for this exam in various centers in Africa – Zimbabwe, Namibia,
Mauritius and South Africa, with delegates also coming from Lesotho, Uganda, Tanzania,
DRC, Zambia, Malawi, Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria.
The success rate is excellent with a pass rate in excess of the current international median
of 60%. Our clients have included dealing and operational personnel from inter alia Barclays,
Standard Bank, Nedbank, Investec, RMB, SARB, Bank of Taiwan SA as well as from a
number of large corporations.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
A full refund, less R250 (plus VAT) administration fee, will be given for cancellations received
up to 10 working days before the date of the course. For any cancellation received less than
10 working days before the date of the course will result in a cancellation fee of 50% (plus
VAT) of the course fee. However, if you wish to attend another course offered by Full Value
Financial Services (Pty) Ltd, you will only be invoiced for 75% of the course fee. Please note
that attendance at the alternative course must be within 6 months of this cancellation.
