The Federal Constitution proclaims that the Constitution is supreme and any
law passed after Merdeka Day which is inconsistent with the Constitution
shall, to the extent of the inconsistency, be void. However, the Constitution
also provided exceptions where laws inconsistent with some provisions of the
Constitution can be made.
Do you think that the Constitution can still be regarded as being the supreme
law as it allows certain laws, through passed after Merdeka Day, be
inconsistent with the Constitution?
