6. Walk in Your Customers’ Shoes
Don’t rely on surveys and phone conversations –
observe your customers in their environment.
Include them in your brainstorm – they have great
ideas.
Drink your own champagne – use your own
product frequently.
Diversity in your teams – your customers are
diverse; the teams building the products must be
as well.
Experiment early with your customers.
