5. OEM (original equipment manufacturer)
 Een OEM-systeembouwer is meestal een computerfabrikant die
eigen hardware levert met vooraf geïnstalleerde software. Een
OEM-licentie is vaak de gemakkelijkste en voordeligste manier
voor klanten om het Windows-besturingssysteem aan te schaffen.
 OEM Software mag alleen verkocht worden gelijk met een systeem

6. Full Packaged Product (FPP)
 In krimpfolie verpakte dozen met gelicentieerde software.
 Via het Microsoft-volumelicentie programma kunnen klanten
desgewenst ook Software Assurance aanschaffen voor alle FPP-
serverproducten en exemplaren van Windows XP Professional.
 Dit moet binnen 90 dagen na de aankoopdatum gebeuren. FPP-
toepassingen komen niet in aanmerking voor Software Assurance
