The Child Care Plus program offers high quality child care services on an as needed basis during non-traditional hours including weekends and evenings. ITFDC is pleased to offer this flexible, convenient service in our nurturing family child care homes that are approved under ouor state license.

2.  Infant Toddler Family Day Care has been bringing
families together with our network of
experienced and professionally trained child care
providers since 1983. Our nurturing program
provides care and early childhood development
to children beginning at six weeks of age and
beyond. The Child Care Plus program,
implemented in 2012, offers high quality child
care services on an as needed basis during non-
traditional hours including weekends and
evenings. Infant Toddler is pleased to offer this
flexible, convenient service in our nurturing
family child care homes that are approved under
our state license.

3.  Early Child Care Educators approved through
Infant Toddler
 Experienced and professionally trained child
care providers
 Providers are CPR and First Aid certified
 Liability Insurance
 Home Visits from Child Care Specialists
 Infant Toddler office handles billing
◦ Can use your Child Care Flexible Spending Account

4.  Anyone!
 Current Infant Toddler families are eligible to
utilize Child Care Plus.
 Families not currently enrolled with an Infant
Toddler provider may register to use the
services of Child Care Plus as well. Once
enrolled in Child Care Plus, families can
decide to enroll in traditional child care
services in the future.

5.  Child Care Plus is for non-traditional hours.
This includes
◦ Weekday evenings (after your scheduled contract
time ends)
◦ Weekend (day time or evening)
◦ Overnight (7:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
◦ Full Day (24 hours period)
◦ Infant Toddler Holidays (see fee schedule)
 Beginning August 1st, 2012!

6.  You can use the services of any Provider who
has signed up for Child Care Plus
 Currently, 27 providers are interested in the
following areas
◦ Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Burke,
Centreville, Fairfax, Falls Church, Haymarket,
Lorton, Springfield, Vienna, and Woodbridge

7.  Hourly Rates
◦ 1 child: $12 per hour
◦ 2 children: $16 per hour
◦ 3 children: $18 per hour
◦ 4 children: $20 per hour
 Overnight Rates (7:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
◦ 1 child: $6 per hour
◦ 2 children: $8 per hour
◦ 3 children: $9 per hour
◦ 4 children: 10 per hour

8.  Full Day Rates (24 hour period)
◦ 1 child: $125
◦ 2 children: $150
◦ 3 children: $175
◦ 4 children: $200
 Holiday Rates (Infant Toddler Holidays)
◦ 1 child: $6 per hour
◦ 2 children: $8 per hour
◦ 3 children: $9 per hour
◦ 4 children: $10 per hour
 These are suggested rates. Providers and parents
can arrange their own rates.

9.  All families must agree and sign Child Care Plus
Policies
 Infant Toddler families
◦ Complete Child Care Plus family enrollment form
 Non-Infant Toddler families
◦ Complete Child Care Plus family enrollment form
◦ Complete all Infant Toddler enrollment forms
◦ Turn in physical and immunization records for all
children
◦ Pay Child Care Plus enrollment fee of $100 (waived
August 1st – October 31st, 2012)
 Future enrollment in Infant Toddler child care: enrollment
fee will be reduced

10.  You can use the services of any Child Care
Plus provider
 Ask your provider to enroll! She can opt to
only provide Child Care Plus services to her
currently enrolled children
