LA ROCHE COLLEGE MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

A private, Catholic, co-educational college in the North Hills of Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, La Roche is listed as a top 25 U.S. baccalaureate college
hosting international students in the latest Open Doors Report by the
Institute of International Education. The College integrates liberal arts and professional education in
creative ways, empowering all members of our international community to become lifelong
learners, achieve success in their chosen careers and promote justice and peace in a constantly
changing global society.

International students accepted into an academic program are eligible to receive a merit-based
scholarship ranging from $5,500 to $11,000 per year. The scholarship amount is based on the
student’s academic achievement, and it can be renewed for up to five years. Students only need to
submit an admission application—no separate scholarship application is necessary.

WARTBURG COLLEGE LORET RUPPE SCHOLARSHIPS

Wartburg traces its roots to 1852, when Pastor Wilhelm Löhe of Neuendettelsau,
Bavaria, sent Pastor Georg Grossmann to America to work as a missionary of the
Lutheran faith. With five students, Grossmann founded a teacher-training school for German
immigrants in Saginaw, Mich. Today, Wartburg College helps students discover and claim their
callings—connecting their learning with faith and values, their understanding of themselves and their
gifts, their perspective on life and the future, and the opportunities for participating in church,
community, and the larger society in purposeful and meaningful ways.

Upon meeting admission requirements, international students may be awarded scholarships
ranging from $1,000 up to $24,000. To qualify, students must have a TOEFL score of at least 480,
except as authorized by the Associate Director for International Admissions. Awards are based
upon scholastic achievement, participation in co-curricular activities such as music, sports, or
drama, community service, and financial need. Scholarships are renewable each academic year if
students maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Students are
expected to complete their degree within four nine-month academic terms. Transfer students will
have credits from other institutions, thereby reducing the time it takes to complete their degree.
Scholarships will not be awarded beyond the time required for degree completion. Students are
expected to reside on campus to maintain full eligibility for their scholarship.

GEORGIA COLLEGE ASSISTANTSHIPS

As Georgia's public liberal arts university, Georgia College offers
undergraduate programs of study to talented and motivated students in a
residential college setting. Georgia College also provides, at multiple

pathways to individual success and personal fulfillment. Its academically engaging, student-
centered programs often take learning beyond the traditional classroom and develop the
intellectual, professional, and civic skills and dispositions that enable graduates to thrive in an
information-intensive and diverse global society.

Georgia College is offering 15 International Graduate Assistantships in the amount of $13,000 USD
for the Fall 2013 semester. The college is looking to make awards for its new 15-month intensive
MBA. Similar awards are available for undergraduate programs. These assistantships waive the
out-of-state fees, and are awarded to new incoming students on the basis of demonstrated
academic ability, evidence of extracurricular involvement and financial need. International Graduate
Assistants are required to work 10 hours per week while school is in session. To be considered for
the IGA, applicants must have on file a completed application for admission and completed IGA
application by the stated deadline. Applications for the International Graduate Assistantship are
included in the International Student Graduate Application for Admission form.

Financial Aid UG: La Roche College Merit-Based Scholarships UG: Wartburg College Loret Ruppe Scholarships UG/Grad: Georgia College Assistantships Grad: UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business Fellowships Grad: SIT Graduate Institute Merit-and-Need Based Scholarships II. Campus News • Salve Regina University Offers New Degree in Health Care Administration and Management • Worcester State University Now Accepting IELTS • The George Washington University Opens Skype Chats for Prospective Summer Study Students LA ROCHE COLLEGE MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS A private, Catholic, co-educational college in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, La Roche is listed as a top 25 U.S. baccalaureate college hosting international students in the latest Open Doors Report by the Institute of International Education. The College integrates liberal arts and professional education in creative ways, empowering all members of our international community to become lifelong learners, achieve success in their chosen careers and promote justice and peace in a constantly changing global society. International students accepted into an academic program are eligible to receive a merit-based scholarship ranging from $5,500 to $11,000 per year. The scholarship amount is based on the student’s academic achievement, and it can be renewed for up to five years. Students only need to submit an admission application—no separate scholarship application is necessary. For more information, please visit: http://bit.ly/ZtXQaa
  • 2. WARTBURG COLLEGE LORET RUPPE SCHOLARSHIPS Wartburg traces its roots to 1852, when Pastor Wilhelm Löhe of Neuendettelsau, Bavaria, sent Pastor Georg Grossmann to America to work as a missionary of the Lutheran faith. With five students, Grossmann founded a teacher-training school for German immigrants in Saginaw, Mich. Today, Wartburg College helps students discover and claim their callings—connecting their learning with faith and values, their understanding of themselves and their gifts, their perspective on life and the future, and the opportunities for participating in church, community, and the larger society in purposeful and meaningful ways. Upon meeting admission requirements, international students may be awarded scholarships ranging from $1,000 up to $24,000. To qualify, students must have a TOEFL score of at least 480, except as authorized by the Associate Director for International Admissions. Awards are based upon scholastic achievement, participation in co-curricular activities such as music, sports, or drama, community service, and financial need. Scholarships are renewable each academic year if students maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Students are expected to complete their degree within four nine-month academic terms. Transfer students will have credits from other institutions, thereby reducing the time it takes to complete their degree. Scholarships will not be awarded beyond the time required for degree completion. Students are expected to reside on campus to maintain full eligibility for their scholarship. For more information, please visit: http://bit.ly/XcUrL4 GEORGIA COLLEGE ASSISTANTSHIPS As Georgia's public liberal arts university, Georgia College offers undergraduate programs of study to talented and motivated students in a residential college setting. Georgia College also provides, at multiple locations, graduate and professional studies that support the needs of the region and create pathways to individual success and personal fulfillment. Its academically engaging, student- centered programs often take learning beyond the traditional classroom and develop the intellectual, professional, and civic skills and dispositions that enable graduates to thrive in an information-intensive and diverse global society. Georgia College is offering 15 International Graduate Assistantships in the amount of $13,000 USD for the Fall 2013 semester. The college is looking to make awards for its new 15-month intensive MBA. Similar awards are available for undergraduate programs. These assistantships waive the out-of-state fees, and are awarded to new incoming students on the basis of demonstrated academic ability, evidence of extracurricular involvement and financial need. International Graduate Assistants are required to work 10 hours per week while school is in session. To be considered for the IGA, applicants must have on file a completed application for admission and completed IGA application by the stated deadline. Applications for the International Graduate Assistantship are included in the International Student Graduate Application for Admission form. For more information, please visit: http://bit.ly/zaw9Ry UC IRVINE PAUL MERAGE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS FELLOWSHIPS The Merage School prepares students to become the kind of leader tomorrow’s businesses demand. Our curriculum is rigorous for good reason. The Merage School challenges you to analyze real-world business problems, act decisively in demanding situations and innovate, collaborate and grow – both in the classroom and throughout your career. All international and U.S. applicants are automatically considered for merit-based fellowships and are informed of any award upon admission. Criteria for fellowships include academic record (GPA), GMAT, work experience and leadership. For more information, please visit: http://bit.ly/R9dw1q
